Jack and The Beanstalk

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK

Jack is a poor little boy who lives in the forest with his mom. The son and mother live off their cows milk, but one day when the cow doesn't produce any milk, Jack's mom tells him to go sell the cow in the market for money and food. When Jack is on the way to sell the cow he meets a butcher who says he has magic beans that grow really tall overnight. Jack decides to exchange the cow for the magical beans and when Jack gets home he proudly shows his mother the beans, but she gets becomes very angry with Jack and throws the beans out the window.

His mother  then sends Jack back to bed with no dinner and when Jack wakes up the next morning with astonishment written all over his face as he realizes that the beans sprouted into a giant beanstalk traveling all the way up to the sky. Jack is curious as to what is up at the top, so he climbs up the beanstalk and walks down the road to find a giant castle.

Jack enters the castle and sees a giant women and asks her for some food as he hasn't eaten yesterday's lunch. The women gave Jack food, but when her child-eating husband comes home Jack hides in the oven. Once the husband falls asleep Jack escapes the oven, steals a bag of gold, and runs out of the house.

Jack does this two more times, stealing a duck that poops gold and a gold harp. The last time he travels up the beanstalk, the giant husband sees Jack as he is running out of the house with the harp, and chases after him. Once Jack gets down the beanstalk, he cuts the beanstalk causing the giant to fall to death.

Jack and his mother lived happily ever after with stolen goods.

About My Last Dec Holiday

About My last Dec Holiday

Unfortunately, I did not go overseas for my holiday. But in exchange, I get to spend my time touring around Bandung and Tasikmalaya with my family and friends. That's why I'm here, I'm going to retell my December holidays to you all.

When school holiday officially started, I was elated to say the least as there would be no school obviously, no teachers, no homework, no math and no science. I could spend my time however I want without anyone controlling me. On the first day of holidays, I woke up late and ate my breakfast. Later I would open my laptop and log into Netflix to catch-up on my series and movies that I had missed because of school. Beside me was a tray full of snacks and drinks I had prepared beforehand so that all of my necessities were near me and I don't need to waste my time and energy to get out of bed and find snacks. So I did that for the whole of that week.

On the second week, my family and I went to Tasikmalaya for 4 days. We went there by train as we want to appreciate the scenery and it was more peaceful by train. Once we arrived there, we checked into a hotel named "Hotel Santika Tasikmalaya". Right after we checked in, we got into the rooms and placed our bags neatly in the room. Since we checked-in in the afternoon, we had some time to go out and find some specialty foods of Tasikmalaya for example, Tutug Oncom and Rice Cikur. It was delicious. After the meal, we went back to the hotel.

The following day, we got up early in the morning and went touring. The first place we went to was 'Taman Nyentrik'. There was a miniature of Hobbit and we took tons of pictures there. Once we were done at 'Taman Nyentrik' it was already evening, so my family and i decided to go to some tourist shops and buy some souvenirs. We bought some fridge magnets, keychains and a bear that was wearing a shirt that says 'I Love Tasikmalaya'. Then we head back to the hotel.

On the third day, we got out of the city and went to the countryside. We went to 'Bukit Kacapi'. It was an hour ride from the city to 'Bukit Kacapi'. In my opinion, it was worth the long journey as we got to see the fantastic panorama from the top of the hill. The next day we just went around the city and went back to Bandung.

There were still some days left before school starts. So my Mom and I decided to go shopping as there were huge discounts. First, we went to Paskal shopping mall. We bought clothes and sandals. As the shoes that I wanted to buy wasn't available in Paskal, we decided to go to Tran Studio Mall. Luckily, the shoes that I wanted was there. My mom bought it for me and we did more shopping. By now, me and my mom's hands were full of bags so we went back home.

For the remaining days, i spent my time with my friends and hangout at cafes till school starts :(
